I went there for university and I knew tons of Flames Fans. As well, the two bars on the West Side (mojos and the Duke, which is now Pops) always put Flames games on the big screen. Furthermore we always had flames game specials on at the Zoo, the university pub.
Maybe it was just the west side that wasn't full of Oiler fans, but my experience there led me to believe that that town cheered for the Flames.
