His stats don't excite me much. Low PIMs as well so he doesn't appear to have much of a physical game either. If the Flames could sign him to a one year deal I assume they would. Committing to 3 years is a bit risky if you believe the odds of him becoming an NHLer is very low.
If he isn't signed, does he re-enter the draft? I assumed that is the case. If that does happen I doubt he would be drafted. If he's not drafted I believe he signs a one year AHL-only deal with someone, maybe even the Heat. I think he will have to prove himself in the AHL before getting an NHL deal.
Of course tomorrow he could sign a 3 year entry level deal making me look bad.
