I always remember a very old episode of
Just for Laughs where a guy was impersonating Brian Mulrooney (told you it was an old episode). The gag went along the lines of: "We've turned the corner on jobs. We've turned the corner on the economy. We've turned the corner on crime. And we've turned the corner on the budget. Thats... four corners. Oh shi*, we're right back where we've started."
The Oilers have turned the corner on offence. They've turned the corner on defence. They've turned the corner on goaltending. And they have turned the corner on coaching. They are, ultimately, right back where they started.
