A trifold is extremely easy to take off and put on, you'd have no trouble doing that. 1-2 minute job at the most once you've done it once or twice and get the hang of it. Doesn't take up much space to store somewhere either
How big is your box? I think you'd have enough room leaving it on and folded up anyway.
