So, I'm looking for a tonneau cover. I want to be able to put our skis/snowboards in the box, and not worry too much about them. IE, on the way home from skiing, stop at Barpa Bills for a burger without having to put the snowy gear in the cab. I wouldn't be leaving gear in the box for extended periods.
I also need to be able to haul bikes in the back. I have a tailgate pad that the front wheels will go over. If I want to go snowbiking, I can either take the tonneau cover off, or move out of the way with enough room for the bikes.
I also do not want to drill holes in my truck.
So, one thought is, get a trifold and put it on for ski trips, and take it off for bike trips. I imagine this can get old quickly, plus having to have a space for it in my garage. I'm unsure that a trifold cover folded up would still leave me enough room for bikes, even with the front hanging out of the box.
Does anyone have something they can recommend?
