And in the context of all posts, there was no harm intended in any of them. I get that.
But it's still a word that has absolutely no value or use in our vocabulary. There's no "nice" way to say fag. It's a hateful word and the use of it hurts and negatively impacts a lot of people.
I'm generalizing here, but am guessing you couldn't walk up to most gay people and convince them that, no matter what the context was, that your use of "fag" was harmless and therefore appropriate to use.
Just wondering why the word isn't censored and why it has any place on here, context or not.

Heh, funny enough, I thanked Fotze's post because I thought it was funny, but then later retracted for use of the word "fag". I agree, and I know what he was trying to say, (i.e. that's something you would say in the 50s, along with "what kind of man goes grocery shopping") but I thought to myself "would I thank that if he had dropped the N-bomb....probably not".
Anyway, TLDR, I agree.
