So, let's summarize here.
He's now up to 5'8, 160lbs. It's not unreasonable to expect him to land somewhere between 165-170.
35g, 40a, 75p and +39 in 38 games this year. Leading basically every statistical category the NCAA tracks. Goals, assists, points, points-per-game, GWG, and plus/minus. A record-tying (Paul Kariya) 31 game point streak.
242 points in 176 games over the past 4 seasons, led all rookies in scoring in his Freshman year, 2 league MVP awards, 2 Beanpot championships, 2 tournament MVP awards, one National Championship (led the tournament in scoring) and a finalist for the Hobey Baker award as a Sophomore in 2013.
Gaudreau will likely take home the 2014 Hobey Baker in the next two weeks, an even greater accomplishment considering this is an award almost always won by players in their Senior season.
It's no exaggeration to suggest this kid has done it all.
Watching him play live at Flames dev camp last year, I was electrified every time he touched the puck, easily the best player on the ice from start to finish. He then led the World Juniors in scoring last year while taking home the Gold medal against the best young players in the game.
I am confident his game will translate just fine. For those who haven't seen him play live, you're in for a real treat, here.
