Doesn't matter if crowds are that great. If the NHL squad owns the WHL team, there is little to no overhead. You own the building and the facilities and you can leverage your current staff for promotions and ticketing. I suspect that the Hitmen have, from an administration perspective, a handful of full time employees including coaches and trainers. You don't pay the kids and you travel by bus. I think it's basically a license to print money.
