In a move that many believed would never happen, the Pittsburgh Penguins have dealt their franchise player and longtime starting goalie Carey Price.
Price heads to Anahiem along with Pavel Datsyuk for Jonathan Quick and Henrik Sedin.
For the Pens, this was a sim move. We traded out every other position on our roster except our goalie. I wanna see if Quick can thrive here and also if Price can lead Anaheim to the glory.
As hard as it was to make it was a deal needed to test sim chemistry and also to shake up two teams that have not been playing up to their potential the past few weeks.
Will we see one team falter and another flourish, two teams succeed or two teams fail. Time will tell. But both teams have one goal. Cup or bust.
