All while managing to maintain the Culture they have developed this season. 5 or 6th in the conference right now is a 25-31 point difference and likely to be bigger at the end of the year you think the Flames can make up that huge of a difference just by those additions?
That still leaves us with below average goaltending in net and a lack of top line talent.
I know there is a lot of excitement with the effort this team gives but that is a very unlikely expectation even with the FA additions. Hard to see one of St. Louis, Anaheim, LA, Chicago or SJ falling behind us and that is without a team like Colorado or Dallas improving as well with their young talent.
