I'm going glass half-full on this one. The injuries opened up opportunities for some other (often younger) players. This is something that has often been lamented in Calgary during Sutter's reign - the kids weren't being given a shot. Now we have Monahan playing 20 minutes a game (sometimes). I doubt we would have seen Paul Byron if there had been fewer injuries.

I definitely see positives come out of this season that wouldn't have been there without the injuries.
