I disagree with both the idea that players will regress towards the norm because they had career years and the idea that injuries will regress towards the norm because that is something strictly based on luck.

I think that both of these things happened (career years, lots of injuries) because of work ethic and sacrifice. Objects in motion tend to stay in motion... Next year, we will have injuries in about the same ballpark and also lots of pleasant surprises due to the development pressure cooker that Hartley has created. I expect steady progress, and for the games to be meaningful further into the year.
