Such a silly argument. Is Tavares a top line C on a weak team, or is he a top line C?
You don't judge a player by how good the team is overall, you judge him by what he does, and how the team is, when he is on the ice.
And all of the stats available show that Gio and Brodie are being dominant against the toughest competition in the NHL.
Can the person that recently posted their stats (zone starts, level of competition, etc) in another thread please post them here?
These guys are getting it done and are/should be in the conversation with other top pairing s in the league for what they have done in the last couple months or so. (keeping in mind that it has only been for that long and consistency is a factor that has not yet been achieved)
