Except that entire argument is blown out of the water by the fact that Brodie is a + player on a very weak team playing against other teams top lines all season long. What's more important is that he has not looked at all out of place, he has looked like a true top pairing player when matched up against true contenders top pairing defenders.
As the rest of the team improves with time, so will his +/-.
