Brodie is a top pairing guy on a weak team. We love how these guys are playing, but face facts, this team is below where they need to be to be a contender. When they get to that stage, if Brodie keeps improving, who knows, but I would still say the Flames only have half of a top pairing, albeit with good depth of NHL calibre defencemen in the 3-7 spots
