This pairing has become a legit top NHL pairing! Gio since given the “C” has played his A$$ off every game. Besides missing a bunch of games due to injury as been lights out and has definitely taken the roll as Captain to heart. I would say if he hadn’t missed those games, there is a good chance his name would be on the ballet for the Norris.

As for Brodie has quietly worked his way out of a huge minus hole to a plus player now. He doesn’t get nearly the PP time that
Russell and Gio get but is our second highest scoring D man.

Should some of the love for Gio and his success, be shared with Brodie? They make a great top Pairing!
