We've also determined that education has nothing to do with the choice. It is completely illogical. Who has determined this? A few random guys on the internet with no knowledge of JGs family situation or values? Maybe his mom hated the fact that he played hockey since day one fearing he would get hurt. Maybe she still doesn't see it as a viable career path. Some people are like this, just don't get sports or their value. There I have determined his mom is crazy.
If he wanted to stay because of his brother, why not just say so? Well nothing Johnny says seems to resonate here. Only heresay, tweets from people no one has heard of and random guesses based on what his mom said in response to a question about whether or not she wants her son to finish his college degree. And no matter what type of a degree that is, some parents see value in getting any degree at all, especially those who may not have had that opportunity themselves. But yeah, anything but engineering is a waste of time.
So refusing to accept everything at face value (when its all we have to go on is ridiculous) and making assumptions = overreacting? Maybe on CalgaryPuck.
