If it wasn't for Smith this deal would have been a disaster that could have cost him his job. Eriksson has been injured and now playing on the third line. It looks like his numbers are closer to that of the lockout year then those while playing wingman to Richards and Ribiero.
I have been reading some really bad things about Joe Morrow (more rumours than anything) but being traded twice and at one time being highly thought of raises some flags.
Peverly had been a pretty nice addition to Dallas too before the whole heart condition.
Overall I think Dallas wins this trade, but I think both teams got what they wanted out of it (Dallas long term/add a franchise player, Boston dump salary, get 2 way players, and try to win now)
