If he does go back to BC, it is absolutely not for education. Communications is generally regarded as the degree US college athletes take because it is the biggest joke of a course that you can basically sleep through and still pass and thus remain eligible for the NCAA. It's essentially the course athletes who have no long term interest in being in school take. They have to take something to play college sports, but they don't actually care about college. If he stays its to play with his brother and so mom can see him graduate. Communications rates marginally ahead of general studies and is on par with sociology.
