39. I can remember being a kid and cutting out the Flames hockey cards off the back of Kraft Dinner boxes. I chose the Flames as my team because I thought their symbol was badass, and nobody else liked them as I am from Southwestern Ontario. I remember it being damn near impossible to see any of their games on the tv when I was really young because I was so out of market. When CBC would televise the game I was too young to stay up and watch but unknown to my parents was that the police scanner they got me for christmas could pick up CBC's frequency and I would listen to the games when I was supposed to be sleeping. I remember making a bet with my friend who was a big Habs fan in 89 on the Stanley Cup final, if he won I owed him five bucks, if I won he owed me his Theo Fleury rookie. I still have that card. I remember NHLCI being introduced and at the time I had a Bell Expressvu setup with a cheater card so I had everything unlocked, it was like heaven! I remember the alt. Calgary Flames mailing list and getting into arguments on there. I remember the Conroy/Stillman trade and I was so upset I emailed Craig Button and gave him a piece of my mind and he wrote me back that Cory Stillman had only played a couple of "freakin playoff games" and would never do nothing special. How many cups did Stillman win again? I remember Eric Francis ripping into Theo Fleury about something and I wrote him a nasty response and it got published in the newspaper.
