Me too... although that move will precipitate some others. Namely what to do with JA Happ. Happ has options left but I believe he has the required MLB service time to refuse consent to minor league assignment (which he'd obviously do). So that means he'd have to go to bullpen...

Keeping Happ is something they should do anyways. If McGowan does make the rotation, chances are he will only be able to go 4-5 innings, at least for the first little while. They will need a good long guy to pick up the slack.
Maybe it is nostalgia, but I really want McGowan to make it into the rotation.
