Self Defense always works like a charm. Though, in this case, it is indeed self defense, if you have to kill to defend yourself, I think it is ok. That girl didn't have a weapon though (not counting her hands). Him being 6'6"... shoulda just be able to pick her up and thrown her away easily... hell, throw her right back at the group. But I guess stabbing her would scare the **** out of the rest of the group.
Its never good to kill anyone, but its not good to die either.
