Thanks to mayday I consider myself an expert in airplane disaster investigation. My opinion is that it is a combination of Helios 522 and Egyptair Air 990. Pilot suicide by hypoxia. Since i believe the copilot was the last one to radio communication (doesn't matter which one) - he was the only one in the cockpit (the other may have been on break or washroom), change the course of the plane to head south to avoid possibly killing even more innocent people, change the cabin pressure or turn it off ...go to sleep - plane is on autopilot and eventually runs out of fuel somewhere in the indian ocean, This was also a red eye flight, so i would imagine a good chunk of the passengers were trying to catch some shut eye - so most of them did not know what happened.
