Sorry for the random bump, but I have a quick question on what's the protocol in locating a home for a lost cat?

A kitten was freezing outside my condo complex today, so I brought it inside to warm up a bit. I guess I am a bleeding heart when it comes to cats (especially black ones), so I stored it in my extra room so it wouldn't make a mess. That and it kept hiding underneath my bed and couches, and I didn't want it to get crushed.

I took some pictures and posted a "found" ad on kijiji, and plan on taking it to the SPCA on the weekend if no one comes for it.

I feel that putting up posters is a thing of the past, so is there anything else I should do? I also can't really start knocking on doors, since I live in a condo/apartment district.
