Me too, something just wigs me about about those completely remote and desolate parts of our planet (mainly the ocean areas, Antarctica doesn't bug me at all).
That southern search area is a real bugger, almost 4 hours of flying to get to it and that leaves most aircraft with roughly 2 hours of loiter time to search before having to head back to base.
