Just for fun...if you were to create a new Provincial Party in Alberta, what would it stand for? Give 3 or more examples of key policies or platforms that you think should be a provincial focus. For example my list would be:

-Focus on rebuilding the Alberta Heritage Fund...move back to original formula of something like 30% of resource revenue flowing into fund
-Establish a modest sales tax 2% will ALL revenue flowing into the fund. Legally not possible to use tax revenue for Government operations
-Increase Auditor Generals power to help ensure transparency regarding program operations and (as much as possible) outcomes
-Focus upon developing the 'next-generation' economy...Alberta's Oil and Gas economy can't last forever and it will take a long time to grow other parts of the economy.
