To add to the last couple of posts, Hayes took a step forward last year, and a bit one this year before being moved up. Gaudreau and Arnold were both petitioning York to allow them all to play together, but York was hesitant at first - he wanted to spread out the talent a bit more on the lines, and thought Hayes was doing very well there.
Hayes is a legitimate prospect with upside all on his own. That line has created some nice synergy, but I don't really think any single player on that line is 'carrying' it. They all contribute in a very balanced and lethal way (at least at the NCAA level), and everyone on that line is getting their stats 'padded' because of the other two.
It is simply one of those lines that has so much synergy.
