Maybe Alison will cross the floor and sit as an independent to protest the tory caucus.

Let's get things back on track in Alberta. We need strong health care management and to focus on true efficiency and service to the people that are ill. This should be a huge priority and mandate. I also think we should bring back the premiums and get serious about fixing this thing. It's not an overnight solution or a forum board thing, it's broken. Just ask the patients.

We also need a far better education system for 1 - 12. What we are doing is so far in the past with no fundamental change to address the next 15 or 30 years. We need to better integrate technology, better assess and evaluate how we are teaching and what students are learning and to use technologies to increase our advantage.

Focus on non oil related sector growth to balance a bad energy market and soften the highs and the lows.

Also, to remember and keep all of us advantaged by controlling expenditures and managing within the prosperity that we do share in Alberta whenever and wherever impossible.

It's a good thing that she stepped down as you would not want a far left government or radical right in power. My guess is at the next election you would have seen a massive liberal resurgence.
