Its a huge corporation and basically she's an employee number. 15 sick days are her negotiated right and she'll use every one of them if she feels the need.
It shouldn't matter if she's just and employee number or that nobody cares. What happened to personal values and what you consider to be right or wrong? Just because a certain number of sick days is a negotiated benefit doesn't give the employees the entitled right to use/abuse a sick day when they are not sick. It's one of many reasons why I loathe unions and hated working under one.
