What makes it even sweeter is that this is his first full-time season in the NHL - and he's been shifted to wing, a position he isn't really used to. Not only is he taking to it like a fish to water, the improvement he's shown has been incredible to the point where he's getting top 6 duty.
Joe still has a lot of room to grow as a player (and physically, damn those stork legs) so it'll be very intriguing to watch his progression season by season considering the leaps he's made in the last two months.
