I don't think anyone was legitimately complaining about the girl getting killed or it being too much, just that was kinda shocking and surprising. Which is probably a good thing that it is.

I liked the storyline, and liked the big shock. I believed that Lizzy could be that twisted, whether she truly just didn't understand (some kids take longer than others) or she was a psychopath, there were believable reasons she did what she did, and thematically I thought it was interesting and cool, in a disturbing way of course.

However, I have to agree that something was a little off about it. The whole episode really. I wanna say the acting, cause that's what it felt like, maybe it was the direction too. I've noticed that some directors can get award winning performances out of no-names while other directors can make even a famous actor seem weak. Maybe it's how they do the take or cut around the take, maybe it's lighting, or just the preparation, who knows. Maybe it's a combination of acting and directing. Whatever ever it is though, I feel like a lot of the scenes that should have felt gut wrenching to me, like that one, have come up a little short. The only OMG moment I've truly had with this series is when Zombie Sophia walked out of the barn. That was done really really well.

To use the GoT example I just find the acting in that show so solid, even the kid actors. It's easy to say, well these characters are only kids so you can't expect too much, but there are examples out there of it being done better. And I routinely feel amazed or gut punched in that show. Heck even the simple scenes of talking are often a joy to rewatch, there is so much nuance in so many of them.

I do think it was a great bit of story, I do think it was the best episode of the season so far. Course, there hasn't been a lot to get excited about this season yet. But yes, I enjoyed the episode and I hope people don't think I'm complaining to complain. I'm generally not that type of person. Also, I've been here since the beginning it's not like I rolled in here and just launched into 'WHAT ARE YOU GUYS WATCHING?! LULZ, THAT'S SO STUPID! YOU'RE STUPID IF YOU LIKE THIS!' That's something much different. But I've invested into this, and it's ok if some of us want to explore if we still feel the same way.

Was going to ask, but it appears it's already answered in the thread, I'll throw it out anyway. I thought those girls were sisters? Were they, or had they just become friends at the prison. Did we ever meet their parents?
