I know I'd be pretty upset as a Canadian citizen if we just started bull####ting our way into slicing off chunks of other countries. If Turks and Caicos, as an completely independent entity, wanted to join us, I would be for it. If the US was weak, and we decided to annex Arizona because a bunch of Canadians lived there, I would think it was unjust.

However, I would also laugh hysterically if our leaders tried as hard as Putin does to portray themselves as tough guys. I think most Westerners would.
