Anwar has been charged with Sodomy (which essentially is being homosexual), a charge he has been charged with in the past and was dropped. The ruling party is doing everything in their power to discredit Anwar by making up false charges against him. Anwar has also been imprisoned in the past under the archaic ISA (internal security act). This act allows for someone to be imprisoned for doing nothing more than to speak out against the government.
The ruling government has proven time and time again they will use any means necessary to destroy the opposition. However, Anwar has been fighting them with peaceful means. He has encouraged his supporters to fight them with peaceful means, and that means to vote. I have not encountered a situation where an opposition supporter has resorted to violence. Anwar has continually emphasized that he requires all hands on deck to liberate the country. That does not mean hijacking a plane, as that runs contrary to Anwar's policy.
If this pilot did indeed hijack the plane, it will be a good bet the ruling party will use this to enact the Internal security Act and have all the opposition leaders arrested. It has happened before and I can see it happening again. They will blame this on the opposition, and not because of the pilot's unstable state of mind.
BTW, I know nothing about Natural News and how reputable they are. I just know what is happening internally in Malaysia, and that's all. Thought I'd give some insight intoMalaysia's current political situation.
