Putting the boots to the PC party in the last election would not have killed the PC party brand in the province for good. It WOULD have made the party clean up it's act. Instead, now the PC party is worse off now than it ever has been, and the problems may be longer lasting. The one "gong show" likely would have been more constructive than the one we have now.

I'll gladly be "people like you" to keep a rural regressive party from power. I'd rather not reinforce our redneck stereotype. If they put in a good leader, I'll vote for them, if not, I'll vote for someone else ... just not Wildrednecks.

I would argue that ALL party leaders, with the exception of Redford, would be better leaders for this province. You don't have an excuse. That sentiment may have done greater harm to this province in the long run by potentially dismantling the PC party, than 4 years of any other party running the show has. Are you pleased with this outcome?
