One thing to keep in mind is that the BC announcers are GIGANTIC homers. I've watched a few of their games this year with the BC announcers doing the audio, and they've flipped out on calls that I thought were perfectly valid.

Oh, I know how rosy their glasses are. That's kind of why I like to listen to them.
According to them the goal went in. Was called a goal by the official, then the officials met to discuss the call, then they waved it off and gave Brown a penalty.
So unless one ref meant to call Brown for goalie interference (according to announcers contact was made after the puck was in the net) and just forgot to or didn't blow the whistle, then I don't know what to think.
You can review goals for different reasons in college than you can in the NHL. For example, you can review to see if a play was offside which you can't in the NHL.
