I am not trying to start a debate about those guys because I like both of them. And I hope these guys do end up as stars. But just about every team has their Gaudreau and Monahan level prospects (and better). Very few of them end up as NHL top stars. Plus, they are adding these guys to established teams.
Colorado just added Mackinnon to a roster that includes Landeskog and Duchene. For example. This rebuild is just started.
