I don't see how you couldn't be impressed with the Raptors this year? No one expected them to be anywhere near where they are right now. Are they impressive compared to the top 2 in the east and the top 6 in the west? No. But are they impressive in regards to what the expectations were? Absolutely!
I didn't think they'd even make playoffs, and now it looks like they'll win the division. Who cares how weak the east is...half of the league is in the east, and they're better than the majority of that half.
