I don't if it's still this way, but a few years ago you could usually phone Fish Creek arena and get dirt cheap times during the day, Monday to Friday if you can take time off work.

I know a couple of times I phoned, asked what was available for cheap and it was almost like going to a pawn shop.

"What do you have for cheap?"

"Well, we have a few times scattered throughout the week that aren't selling, I'll give you one of those for $60 for 1hr and 15mins."

"I'll take it".
