P&W have never stopped, one of my best buds as a kid is one of the top dogs there today.
As for the Corsair engine, I built a working model of the Wasp 18 cylinder engine which was also the engine of choice for the Hellcat and Thunderbolt and I think even for the later twin Black Widow I believe.
