Yeah it is hard to beleive Alfonzo is "32 years old", most players don't completely lose it by that age, but they've started declining a touch, especially former all stars.

There is just no way he is 32 years old, and what a waste of a lineup spot, I bet our pitchers could hit better than him right now. He clearly has lost it.

I'll echo the sentiments above, what a thrilling game.

Gibbons pulls out all the stops including pinch running for Bengie Molina which, if BJ had blown the save and this game went to extras (Or Hillenbrand not get a hit), he would have had to bat as our bench was now empty (with DH rule, the DH cannot move to a position on the field in the AL or you lose the DH for the game, Zaun, our DH replaced Molina @ Catcher).

Even though I'm not sure the Jays have quite what it takes to make it into the playoffs, they've been absolutely a blast to watch this season.
