Today, I finally made the connection and tied that pain together with previous pub visits and am sure it's entirely from the beer. I think I have to give it up.

If you can transition to primarily red wine you won't regret it. I drink beer every once in a while but my system seems to handle the vino better and my waist line thanked me too.
