Population screening using PSA testing for prostate cancer has been found by the US Task Force to be more harmful than good. It more often leads to false positives (ie. it is positive but there's no cancer) leading to biopsies and other interventions that can be harmful. I would not recommend you have a PSA test unless you have symptoms (urinary, etc).
