Really pulling some Sam Bennett in the draft this year. Monahan, Bennett and Backlund really sets the Flames up long term for maybe the most important position in today's NHL.

It seems like a solid move to draft as many centres as possible... Centres seem to have a much easier time converting to the wing than vice versa. Colborne is transitioning well to the wing, though I do hope he keeps getting experience as a centreman on occasion.
It's funny that Cammy & Hudler are still often listed as centres on various websites (including the NHL) despite having played mainly on the wing for years. Cammy, Hudler, Colborne, Stajan, Backlund, Monahan, Reinhart, Granlund & Knight are all
listed as centres on the current roster... It doesn't seem like it was that long ago that we struggled for years to find a centre to play with Iginla, now we're sort of spoilt for choice.
