Felt that it's finally time for Joe to have a 'frickin' thread.
I know he hasn't impressed everyone yet, but he sure as heck impressed me. I had high hopes for Joe when I heard we acquired him - tonight and last game he just lit up like a flare.
We paid a conditional 4th for him. A conditional 4th for a giant of a kid who will play a very strong power game. He fits an organizational need for strength on the wing even if he's a lefty. A measly 4th for a former 1st round (
16th overall wat?) by the Bruins. Clearly they saw something in him. Big kid. Soft hands too.
We won the balls out of the trade with Toronto as far as I'm concerned. Great seeing his play lately and I hope we keep him. He's improved a heck of a lot since the beginning of the season.
He needs to do leg days with Gary Roberts. No one's pushing this guy off the puck once he packs the muscle on and adjusts to his size.
