OMG. Haha too funny.
When you open battle packs you have to go into your loadout and select them. Putting together attachments makes the weapon considerably better.
With the maps yes you are holding his back! Haha 3 of us have all the map packs, dale only bought china rising so he is 1 behind (almost 2 with the naval expansion coming soon). Close quarters map pack is actually really good IMO as I love those maps from BF3. We don't mind playing the base maps however so don't think we will ditch you
