Oh yes, all the Albertan's that I've talked to have forgiven me my trespasses and said "There there Alison, its ok you keep the money, we forgive you"
The Alberta PC's have a significant problem, they can't keep Redford, she's broken the faith too many times and she looks incompetent or dishonest on the budget.
But they can't fire her before the election because it will bring into question the stability of her party, on top of that every one of her successors has come across as a big giant boob, and not a good one.
When the election happens, it will probably be the first time in a long time that I have to be wide open to anything.
So listen up whacky parties like the Yogic Flyers, or the Marijuana party or he marxist leninist party, you can have my vote, just start the bribbin

Regarding that bolded part, I don't believe that for a second. They could easily replace her with someone more credible and the party could win the next campaign. The reality is that things are pretty good in Alberta. We have a good economy, people are working and life is good. That generally bodes well for a sitting government.
Let me propose this; say the PCs turfed her and Ted Morton was elected leader or Jim Dinning, or Jim Prentice. How do you think that the party would fare in the next campaign? Not saying that these individuals would dive in, but in all honesty there are qualified, respected people who could come in and right the ship.
