Shayne Taker attended the Canucks camp and is from Surrey BC.

Ryan Haggerty attended the Rangers camp
Most players will simply attend the camp that is closest to them since they have to pay their own way. Seems to be the case with Haggerty, Taker, Carery (Leafs), and Van Riemsdyk (Philly)

but when a guy like Carey goes out of his way to attend a camp in Dallas that usually indicates he has a high interest in that team

Interesting goalie prospect in Steven Summerhayes who the Flames could sign. He is from Alaska so we can offer the closest ECHL/AHL teams to home. Also the Flames will likely sign a goalie this summer assuming Ortio becomes backup and MacDonald walks

Also interesting is Justin Baker who is familiar with Burke and is a big right handed Dman

A lot of these guys already have agents (family advisors) who talk to GMs and get their guys to sign where the opportunities are best. So I can't really see the Flames getting any of the forwards listed due to the stockpile of good young forwards in the AHL, but the Flames are wide open on defense and the Brossoit and Berra trades have opened up things in the crease
