Actually, we have Feaster making a claim. Funny how nothing Feaster ever said was taken at face value - until what he says now just happens to fit preconceptions held by certain people. Obvious confirmation bias is obvious.
Again, separate your illogical distrust/dislike/hate of Iginla, Feaster, King, whomever. If Jarome Iginla is told that there is no deal with Pittsburgh, but there is with Boston, do you think he still rejects? An answer of "yes" requires one to make assumptions of Iginla's personality that has no basis in fact.
He wanted Pittsburgh, we all know this. He knew he had the option, we all know this. He took it. Can't blame him for that in the slightest.
