What would be fair value for a goalie like Ward?
Canes have been (apparently) interested in Backlund, Stajan and Wideman in the last month or so (according to Twitter babble).
Both Ruutu and Tlusty were rumoured to be on the block earlier this season.
As much as I wouldn't mind a goalie like Ward, I don't think any of us would like the cost of acquisition. I wouldn't want to go beyond Wideman & Stajan for Ward and Ruutu. Minor cap relief for the Canes, but I don't see much point beyond that (and please don't go on and on about Stajan having just been extended; that means jack
