Unless there is a gold bar in the trunk, it is worth $9995 MAX on a dealers lot if it is perfect. To be worth 15k, it would have to be factory fresh with under 20k and a cash buyer ta boot. No banks will finance a 2005's anymore unless it is on a line of credit (this hits the value huge), and it is a couple months from being 10 model years old, so you can't even warranty it anymore. If it has 120k+ it is worth $3-5000. Don't bury yourself in it.
Not nitpicking, just giving you advice from someone who is around this stuff all day. 10 year RAV4's go for under 10k, even BMW X3's can be had for under 10k. |
Not nitpicking either, but essentially all of those figures are wrong. I can't remember the last time I've found a black book value that's even been in the right ballpark, check the market itself. Less than 175k is still $9000+ private deal, quick look at dealerships shows $10500+
